Montreal Center

Montreal

Montréal, the city with two languages, is the capital of the Province Québec and lies on an island in the St. Lawrence inlet. It is the second biggest city in Canada and surely one of the biggest bilingual cities in the world. Being neither French nor English, in Montréal culminates the beauty and charm of both cultures. Everything is bilingual here; newspapers, radio, television, street signs, etc. are all in both languages. The World Expo and the Olympic Games have made Montréal an important centre of Canada.

The language school lies in the heart of the city. In the immediate vicinity there are numerous restaurants as well as small boutiques offering superb shopping opportunities. All teachers have many years of experience in teaching French as a foreign language. An entrance test is held on the first school day. Classes focus on grammar, conversation, as well as reading and writing. The school organises regular events.

LTC-students can choose from either homestay accommodation (single room/halfboard), student housing or superior apartment accommodation (both without meals). Other options are available on request. All accommodation is situated within 45 minutes travel time from the school.
