Intensive

The Intensive English language courses are based on a curriculum designed to improve English language skills and achieve academic success. Students will gain confidence and fluency in reading, writing, listening, speaking, grammar, and vocabulary. The objective of the Intensive course is to improve the level of English to help to communicate more effectively.

The courses teach different language skills, including conversational English, grammar, reading, listening, comprehensive writing, and vocabulary. Classes are kept small and offer a fun and relaxed environment where students’ needs are the center of attention.

Business

As a purpose-driven tool, the central goal of business English is to get the message across and reach agreement. For this reason, a business-oriented English vocabulary and set of skills are required. These skills may include writing letters in English, giving presentations, negotiating, or simple small talk.

Our SRZ Business English courses provide language instruction and training in business communication, including business correspondence, negotiation, formal presentations, informal networking, business vocabulary, report and proposal writing, vocabulary for professional purposes, and reading for professional purposes. Language skills covered include: Listening comprehension, fluency development, oral comprehension, reading, grammar, writing, and vocabulary development. Particularly suitable for students who already have a good working knowledge of the language.

Diploma - Cambridge (First)

The Cambridge First Certificate in English (FCE) is one of the most commonly attained language certificates worldwide. It enjoys an excellent reputation among many universities and companies. If successfully passed, an FCE exam is a major asset for any CV and proves your language skills at B2 level as set by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). It confirms that you can use the language independently, both in daily life and in a professional or academic context.

Even if you have been learning English for a few years, it does not necessarily mean you are ready for the FCE. The special format of the test and the time pressure during the exercises require a certain kind of preparation. That is why SRZ offers courses in exam preparation at language schools all around the world.

Diploma - IELTS

The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is designed to help people work, study, or emigrate to a country where English is the native language. This includes countries such as Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and the United States. 

The IELTS course is designed for students from intermediate to advanced levels. It focuses on academic skills, with the goal of preparing students to succeed in the IELTS test.  Our SRZ schools offer classes that cover both test-taking skills and techniques, and work on improving all aspects of English: Speaking, Listening, Reading, Writing, Grammar, Pronunciation and Vocabulary. The higher your IELTS score, the better your understanding and ability to communicate in English. Each immigration office, university, workplace, and institution has specific IELTS score requirements. The score you need depends on what you want to do in the country, i.e. work or study. 

Diploma - TOEFL

The TOEFL test is a highly respected English language certificate recognized by over 9,000 universities, colleges and agencies in more than 130 countries, including Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States. This standardized test measures the English proficiency of non-native English-speaking applicants interested in studying at an English-speaking university. The test results are considered a solid basis for important admission decisions and is the equivalent of the IELTS test. It is a multiple-choice test that focuses on reading comprehension and grammar.

The TOEFL preparation course allows students to focus exclusively on preparing for the exam. Experienced teachers provide students with test-taking strategies, practice tests, and the skills necessary to successfully pass the TOEFL exam. 

Diploma - Cambridge (Advanced)

A CAE course at SRZ sprachreisezentrale prepares students for the Cambridge English Advanced Exam, a qualification recognized by thousands of organizations worldwide.  The Advanced Exam is a comprehensive test of English language proficiency recognized by the University of Cambridge, with four parts designed to assess a range of high-level skills.The CAE course from SRZ is therefore thorough, intensive and challenging and is designed to provide exam guidance as well as language improvement.  

Throughout the course, students monitor their own progress through regular testing and practice exams. They are expected to devote significant time to self-study.Although this may sound demanding, the test is officially tested at C1 level or higher with several rewards - this exam is the ticket to study anywhere in the world and sets everyone apart from the rest as far as international careers are concerned. This course has become very popular, especially in recent years. In terms of difficulty, the test is classified between the First Certificate and Proficiency.

Diploma - Cambridge (Proficiency)

Proficiency is also known as the Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE). This qualification shows that the English language has been mastered and that it can be used fluently in demanding scientific, academic and professional situations. It is the highest Cambridge English qualification.

One should take the CPE if a person wants to prove to employers that it is capable of using English at a higher management level, or if one wants to study at a postgraduate or doctoral level at an English-speaking university

Private

Dieser Privatkurs ist besonders für den Kurzaufenthalter und/oder als Ergänzung zu den bereits obenaufgeführten Kursen gedacht. Er will in kurzer Zeit ein Maximum der gewählten Fremdsprache lernen. Schwerpunkt sind Kommunikation und das Beherrschen der mündlichen sowie schriftlichen Sprache.
