San José
San José is the capital of Costa Rica. The "rich coast" has a remarkable fauna and flora: over 750 species of birds, more than 9000 species of plants, a year-round mild climate and nature reserves that are covering about 12 per cent of the total expanse of the state. This, and the fact that the country is politically stable and has one of the highest standards of living in Latin America, make Costa Rica a paradise not only for nature lovers.

LTC-students can choose from either homestay accommodation (halfboard/laundry) or student residence (without meals). Other options are available on request. All accommodation is situated within 20 minutes travel time from the school.
