Cádiz is located on a peninsula jutting into a bay and is almost completely surrounded by water. This popular mid-sized city by the sea, which doesn't really need public transportation to get around, is an ideal destination for learning Spanish in Spain. With an average temperature of 19ºC and 3,200 hours of sunshine a year, there is no better place than the beach to do your homework after class. Just a few meters from the school is the sea, where you can enjoy clear waters, spectacular weather and breathtaking sunsets. Changing beach destinations is not a problem either, as Cadiz offers 10 km of great beaches. The millennia-old history of the region must also be discovered. Especially the cathedral, the archaeological museum, the tower of Tavira, the archaeological site of Gadir, the fish market and the churches are worth seeing. You can end the afternoon with a visit to one of the countless bars and restaurants and then go to the famous beach bars where you can enjoy good flamenco. Besides, Cadiz is very close to places that are also worth a visit. Cities like El Puerto de Santa María, Seville, Cordoba, Gibraltar, Ronda and even the country of Morocco can be visited.
